Road Map to Resolution
Mediation, unlike the traditional legal system, does not need to be a long drawn out process. We can move at a pace to suit both parties. Here you can see the few simple and straightforward steps towards settling your dispute.
Mediation Stages
The mediator will make an introductory call to both parties to discuss the process, terms and objectives and to ensure they are both happy to proceed.
Assuming both parties are happy to proceed with mediation, they will be asked to sign the mediation agreement.
The mediator will provide a briefing note to each party. This will outline what has been discussed and how the mediation will proceed.
The mediator will seek any further information, such as any supporting documentation and then agree a date for the mediation (video or in person)
Once resolved, a binding settlement agreement will be signed by both parties, and agreed terms will be completed.
End of Mediation
In just five easy steps, your dispute can be resolved with a likely win-win scenario for both parties. This will be legally binding and any lose ends will form part of the settlement agreement, so that both sides can get on with their lives, content in the knowledge that their dispute has been resolved.
